I get off on thinking about this stuff and writing so I don&#8217;t think of myself as a martyr. It just really upsets me when people don&#8217;t see the value of talking about things. You&#039;ve no doubt read Jared Diamond&#039;s essay concerning agriculture as the worst mistake in human history, but if not, or for anyone else, it&#039;s another illuminating look at this:
