Raccoon season starts next week. I finally made time to prep my traps in the way my trappers education booklet told me. I boiled the conibears to get the factory grease off and then mixed in a handful of black walnut to see what would happen.

Today I finally gathered some Black Walnuts. I’ve been watching them for weeks now, ever since I got my traps. I never really thought I would get into dyeing things but then when I got my traps, I read online that I should dye them first, with Black Walnut husk.
During the Portland Rewild Camp I felt anxiety about the ever-approaching nuclear disaster in Portland referred to as “Operation Noble Resolve.” Luckily Penny Scout; tracker of plants, showed me the great calming effects of Lemon Balm, a familiar friend you can find in practically anyones yard here in Portland. As some of you may have read early on, Sasha and I eat based on the Body Ecology Diet. Part of this diet involves eating lots of fermented foods, such as Sauer Kraut. I’ve meant to photo-log making it for this site, but kept forgetting until today.
I love chips. Anyone who knows me, knows I have an insatiable hunger for them. I can eat a whole bag without blinking an eye. Of course, afterwards I feel like crap but that has never seemed to stop me. On my current diet, I am only aloud to eat blue corn. Last week I ate two whole bags of blue corn chips. Immediately my dandruff, a symptom of candidiasis, returned. Most of the food I eat is unprocessed. I decided that if I should continue to eat blue corn chips, I should have to make them myself.
Today Sasha and I are fully on the Body Ecology diet, so I thought I would throw out some info/theory on bacteria.
This is a video I made almost 5 years ago when I first was trying out the paleo diet. I look so young!
